Handcrafted from textural papier mache, the Etna Paper Mache Bowls have a chalky, limewash-like texture and impressive scale. Display them on a side console or as a centrepiece to bring organic warmth to your space.

Made from recycled newspapers, they are entirely natural and sustainable. First, the newspaper is mixed with water, then chalk and tree sap crystals are added to turn the substance into a clay-like material. The pulp is kneaded into chapati-like forms, then rolled and moulded into the sculptural objects we love. There is no firing, no power used, and the process is entirely eco-friendly.

Note: Because it is porous, papier mache should not be exposed to liquids.

Most in-stock items at our brick-and-mortar location will be available for pickup within 4 hours of order placement. Please note that the cut-off time for same-day pickup is 3 p.m. When placing your order after 3 p.m., we cannot guarantee same-day service, and your order will be ready the following day when we reopen.

Please bring your confirmation # or email with a valid piece of ID to collect your purchase. [ ah-bohd ] Home Store will include further instructions for managing your pickup in the confirmation email.

Once you receive notification that your item(s) are ready, please collect your order within 7 business days. After this time, a weekly storage fee may apply.
