Returns & Exchanges Policy

At ah-bohd Home Store, we strive to provide high-quality products that align with your expectations. If your purchase does not meet your satisfaction, you may request a return within seven (7) days of receiving your item(s), with some exclusions outlined below.

Return Process

  • To initiate a return, don't hesitate to contact us at sales@ah-bohd.ca with your order details and reason for return.

  • Items cannot be returned to our store without pre-approval.

  • We will review your request and provide further instructions on how and where to return your package if approved.

  • Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Return Conditions

  • The item must be unused, with original tags and packaging intact.

  • The original receipt or proof of purchase is required.

  • Some items are subject to a restocking fee of 25-50%.

  • Return shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.

  • If an item is damaged during the return process, a 25% or more Damage Fee may apply depending on its condition upon arrival. Items deemed unsalvageable will not be refunded.

Items Eligible for Return

  • Home Decor

  • Small furniture items purchased off the showroom floor (e.g., side tables, poufs, ottomans, in-stock rugs)

  • Plug-in lighting

Items NOT Eligible for Return

  • Custom or made-to-order items (including furniture, rugs, and artwork)

  • Medium and large furniture (dining tables, chairs, sofas, cabinets, beds, etc.)

  • Special or pre-order rugs, furniture, or lighting

  • Bedding, towels, and bath products (for hygiene reasons)

  • Hardwired lighting

  • Floor model and sale items

  • Farrow & Ball paint 

  • Items damaged due to normal wear and tear (e.g., sun exposure, humidity, daily use)

  • Gift cards and final sale items

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued in the original form of payment upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.

  • Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

  • Items purchased with a gift receipt will be refunded through store credit.

  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us within 24 hours if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We will assess the situation and offer a resolution accordingly.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item (following the return approval process) and place a new order.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, except for the final sale of Farrow & Ball paint and accessories.

  • Custom and made-to-order items are only eligible for cancellation within 48 hours of order placement.

  • If an order has already shipped, the shipping costs are non-refundable, and you may need to receive and return the item at your expense.

Manufacturer Defects & Transit Damage

  • If your item arrives with a manufacturer defect or is damaged in transit, notify us within 24 hours of receipt.

  • If you receive white glove delivery, inspect the item before the delivery team departs and document any issues.

  • Natural variations in materials such as wood and marble are not considered defects.

  • Claims may take 3-5 weeks to process.

  • To file a claim, contact us at sales@ah-bohd.ca with photos and details.

  • ah-bohd Home Store does not accept returns for buyer’s remorse.

  • Returns are only accepted for damage in transit, concealed damage, or incorrect shipments.
