Handcrafted from textural papier-mâché, the Curio Footed Paper Mache Bowl has a unique aged appearance achieved by applying a clear lacquer to the raw papier-mâché. We love how it makes this piece appear as though it's from a distant time. Made from recycled newspaper, they are entirely natural and sustainable. First, the newspaper is mixed with water, then chalk and tree sap crystals are added to turn the substance into a clay-like material. The pulp is kneaded into chapati-like forms, then rolled and moulded into the sculptural objects we love. There is no firing, no power used, and the process is entirely eco-friendly.

NOTE: Porous in nature, papier maché should not be exposed to liquids.

Most in-stock items at our brick-and-mortar location will be available for pickup within 4 hours of order placement. Please note that the cut-off time for same-day pickup is 3 p.m. When placing your order after 3 p.m., we cannot guarantee same-day service, and your order will be ready the following day when we reopen.

Once you receive notification that your item(s) are ready, please collect your order within 7 business days. After this time, a weekly storage fee may apply.
